Reading Your Ebooks
Every ebook here is delivered as a PDF, and an EPUB is available free on request. This page covers getting either one onto whatever you like to read on.
Your PDF
The download link arrives by email within a minute or two of ordering, and appears on the confirmation page straight away. If it has not arrived within fifteen minutes, check your spam folder first — that is almost always where it is — then write to us and we will send it again.
A PDF opens on anything without special software and keeps the printed page design exactly as it was set. On a phone, tap the file and it opens in your browser or PDF viewer. On a tablet or laptop it is comfortable to read at full size. And it prints cleanly if you would rather read a chapter away from a screen.
To keep it rather than re-download it: on iPhone or iPad, tap the share icon and choose Save to Files, or Books if you would like it in your library. On Android, the file lands in your Downloads folder and can be opened any time from the Files app or Google Drive.
Want an EPUB instead?
EPUB is the format that reflows to fit your screen and your chosen type size, the way a proper e-reader works. If that is how you prefer to read, we will send you one at no charge.
Email yourgrace@allthekingsladies.com with your order number and say which title you would like. We usually send it the same day.
Once you have the EPUB:
- iPhone or iPad: tap the file and choose Apple Books.
- Android: Google Play Books, Moon+ Reader or Lithium will all open it.
- Kindle: email the file to your Send-to-Kindle address, or use the Kindle app's Import option. Amazon converts it for you.
- Kobo: connect by cable and drop the file into the Kobo folder.
Your link stays active
You can download more than once, to more than one device. Lost it? Ask us and we will reissue it.
A note on sharing
The file is yours to keep and to read on your own devices. Please do not upload it, share it publicly, or resell it. A small press lives or dies on that courtesy, and we would rather ask than lock the files down in ways that annoy honest readers.
Trouble?
Tell us the device and the app you are using and we will get it working. We have not yet met a file-and-device combination we could not sort out.
