About Your Grace
Your Grace began with a question that would not leave: what is life, actually? Not the biology of it — the thing itself. That question became a book, and the book became this shop.
Two halves of one shop
Most shops sell what they can source. We sell what we make, and then what belongs beside it.
The Bookshelf is the part of us that is a publisher. Our own titles sit at the centre of it: nonfiction on consciousness, faith, science and the interior life, written for readers who refuse to choose between what they believe and what they know. They are edited hard, argued honestly, and released only when we can defend every claim in them. We would rather publish four books we stand behind than forty we do not.
Around it sits everything the reading life asks for — journals and notebooks with blank pages worth filling, several carrying lines from our own titles. Prints set properly and made to last, for the desk or the wall you look at first thing. Apparel and accessories chosen the way we choose everything: one at a time, kept only if they earn the space.
Nothing here is stocked because a category was trending. Each thing is here because it serves the same purpose the books do.
What we believe about reading
That it is not a productivity activity. That finishing a book is not the point, and abandoning one is not a failure. That the right book at the wrong time is the wrong book, and the same book three years later can undo you. That the hour you spend reading is not stolen from your real life — it is some of the most real life you get.
What we will not do
We do not sell supplements, cures, or anything promising to fix you. Our books discuss research on belief, the mind and the body, and they are careful to say what is established and what is not. We hold the whole shop to that standard. Nothing here is a treatment for anything, and we will never tell you otherwise to make a sale.
Who we are
Your Grace is owned and run by Your Grace — writer, publisher, and the person who answers your email. Every title on these shelves was chosen or written by someone whose name is on the business.
